Federal Nonsense

TSA Body Scanners

I'm not sure what is worse: Having the TSA put their hands all over you in a "pat down" or having unseen TSA agents viewing distorted nude scans of you.

Here is a link to what the photos look like.

Info on how passengers are reacting to the first uses of the scanners. Nobody seemed even slightly outraged by this, which to me is more disturbing than the machine itself.

What if someone under the age of consent passed through the machine??? Will they slap the TSA agents with child pornography charges?

This just in: Tax resisters Dr. Elaine Brown and her husband Ed have been transported back to New Hampshire from their various Federal Detention Facilities, to face trial on.... get this... Juddy Gregg Withdraws His Nomination for Commerce Sec. -- Duh!

His reason? He's discovered that he and Obama have too many differences on matters of policy.

Really? Seems like it took him a while to figure this out. Wasn't there this thing called the "presidential campaign"? Where's Judd been?

Besides, hey, Judd, weren't you in favor of TARP? This new anti-constitutional "stimulus" plan isn't much different. What's the big deal, Judd?

Senate Confirms Geithner as Treasury Secretary

So now a tax evader is the chief tax collector.  Makes sense, I suppose - or at least it's consistent with past practice.  After all, Barack Obama is the third consecutive President to have admitted to drug use in the past, and yet he and his predecessors have all continued to wage the drug war.  Good for me, but not for thee....

Congratulations Barack Obama!

I'd just like to congratulate Obama on a fantastic run as our president elect. I'm sure it wasn't easy, but you pulled through!

Also, I hear a few lucky individuals have discovered the golden tickets and will be offered an all-expenses paid trip to Obama's chocolate city inauguration. If only I could bathe in the awesome chocolate rain.

YOU LOSE!!!! GOOD DAY SIR

College Football Playoff Act of 2008

What's next? Every time a coach challenges a call on the field, a Congressional committee will be convened to review it? This bill was introduced by a Republican - the small government party, right?
