I really liked Gard's retelling of his experience with that "law and order" man on the plane. It's been my experience that some of the worst immorality is excused by people saying they are upholding a "system of law and order". Look at the WWII internment camps in the US, the concentration and death camps in the Axis lands... I've run into people in the military who say that they are "just doing their duty", but I've never encountered a guy who acted like the one Gard encountered, as if he was on a moral high horse and Gard was the bad guy for opposing immoral laws.

In response to a federal prison sentence for Tim DeChristopher, for disrupting a federal auction for rights to exploit oil and gas fields, 26 people zip tied themselves together in the street in front of the Federal Courthouse in Salt Lake City, UT.  A street vendor has offered free hot dogs to those arrested, and invites others to get free hotdogs by sending in pictures of themselves engaged in breaking the law for the sake of justice.

The Cell

My cell is roughly eight feet, by nine feet , by eight feet tall. I am both a prisoner here and free to come and go as I please. While here in the cell I am subject to my prison guards constant surveillance and harassment.

The Constitution, the document that government officials are sworn to uphold and protect, has NO binding power if you listen to this guyl. I mean, I know they *act* like it has no power. But to hear someone come out and say it just blew me away.

I was just listening to the pod with James Babb from WeWontFly.com and was struck by his observation that the government's solution to the problem it created with the porno-scanners would be worse than ever, i.e. biometric I.D., background checks, etc.  Here it is already.  Ah yes, gotta love that Hegelian Dialectic!!

With the MSM grasping at straws to discredit Rand Paul I want to know if can bring lawsuits against Curves and Lucille Roberts because they are gyms that only give memberships to women? Senior housing is my next target because of their ageist leasing policies. I should have a right to work out in any gym I want to because they opened their business to the public and I shouldn't be kicked out of Planet Fitness either for dropping weights or grunting while lifting them.

Imagine that!!  Former DHS chief Michael Chertoff, a leading proponent of body scanners, is now the head of a security consulting firm whose clients include Rapiscan--a maker of the body scanners and thus far the main recipient of government contracts for the machines.

Anybody know of website or youtube video that just rattles off examples of why the government should be feared more than a disturbed kid trying to blow up his underwear. I was arguing with a so called liberal who now expresses fear towards terrorism and is rattling the saber for US involvement in Yemen and anywhere that Obama wishes to go. She was shocked that I fear the government more than terrorism and listed the DEA shutting down medical marijuana clinics in California along with Ruby Ridge, Waco, Kent State but there has to be a complete list out there. Any ideas?
