I’m sure the majority of folk here might have heard the geolibertarian podcast Gasrd & I did with Ed Joyce.

I’m sure there are plenty of libertarians who’d want to challenge a few things Ed stated.

Well I was going to go up to London today & do a follow up interview with Ed but I’m just getting over the flu & I’m still feeling pretty shite so I’ve had to postpone.

I’m hoping though when Gard gets back to the US that we might be able to organise a follow up podcast via Skype or other means.

Maybe when you all get this organized you can publicize when it is going to happen, and then you can others listen live, then take questions from the audience.  There are a few questions I'd like to ask, but am hesitant to organize it, as I have fallen through on a couple of commitments I have made recently.

Few weeks back a guy called Jock Coates contacted Gard about doing a podcast because as always with jock he reckoned me & Ed Joyce got geolibertarianism wrong.

Personally I’ve never really got on with Jock & let us leave it at that.

As it goes I & Ed didn’t get it wrong we just have a different interpretation then Jock.

Once the election is over I’m planning on doing a follow up interview with Ed on geolibertarianism when he has more time to expand upon the subject, however I’ve suggested to Gard that he should contact Ed in the next week & get his snapshot upon the general election being as Ed is in the thick of it.

I spoke to Ed yesterday about arranging a time to do a follow up audio before I go south of a equator, however things have changed for Ed & currently it would be awkward for him.

As well as the general election on May 6th there were also local elections & Ed has been elected a councillor in his local borough. Though its great the got elected the problem is he’s a newbie & kind of has to bide his time to prove himself etc & so advocating stuff which is radical like geolibertarianism could screw things up for him.

Basically Ed has to foster good relations with the rest the rest of the lib Dem group on the local council & work himself into a position of strength to be able to advocate anything as radical as geolibertarianism.
