Governments placing explosives in unsuspecting passengers' luggage

Outrageous! In this story, the Slovakian government placed explosives and bomb components in unsuspecting passengers' luggage. Any civillian caught with these materials would suffer very severe consequences. This is not the first time this has happened; a couple years ago, the French government also lost the explosives that it placed in unsuspecting passenger luggage. It is bad enough to search luggage but to open up the luggage of an unknowing and unconsenting passenger to place contraband? This poor passenger had his apartment raided, was labeled a terrorist and detained. What would have happened had the Slovak government not fessed up? (A very rare thing in government.) The passenger would, at the least, have his life ruined, face years in jail, perhaps even in indefinite, secret detention and torture. Did they think of that? Do they even care? It's also sad the Slovak government tried to blame the dogs for their screw-up. They have among the best lines of German Shepherds in the world!

For me, Panama has overtaken Slovakia as my #1 foreign destination.

Famed stateless person Mike Gogolski, an expatriot American living in Bratislava faced some rough handling from authorities in Slovakia which has dissuaded me from visiting that area.

Could this be possible? Well, they are lacking security. Anyway, The Simpson now is needing extra cash to keep going with their shows to entertain people.

My recent foray into thewedding dresses message board has lead me to conclude that progressives are hopeless. A few months ago, I registered for thomhartmann.com in the hopes of bring progressives over to the libertarian dark side. As an aside, I don't care wedding invitations much for Thom Hartmann. He interviewed FTL's Ian during the Ron Paul campaign. Instead of asking him questions about the campaign and why Ian was supporting Paul, he deviated into a discussion of anarchism. I thought it was very dishonest. He also did a similar thing with Andrew Napolitano. wedding
