Rumors of Fox News Exclusion of Ron Paul from Jan 6th Debate -- Confirmed?

On December 30th, the word began to spread that FOXNEWS and the NH GOP had decided to exclude Congressman Ron Paul from the final Republican Debate at St. Anselm College, in NH.

Many people were wondering if this was true. E-mails were sent, informing people to write to Fox. The more immediate results would be garnered if people contacted the NH GOP at 603-225-9341 or emailed them at their website, www.nhgop.org

Gardner Goldsmith has received communication from Fergus Cullen, the Chairman of the NH Republican party, assuring him that the NH GOP is in favor of Dr. Paul participating. We hope Mr. Cullen is vocal and transparent with his support. There are going to be many people who want to know how Dr. Paul, who has raised more money than most of his opponents in the race -- who polls higher than two of the other candidates, even before INDEPENDENTS are included in the polls, and who has a strong support staff here (as opposed to Fred Thompson) -- was targeted for exclusion in the debates.

There are many well-connected people in the NH republican party establishment. These people long ago chose the candidates whom they would support. They have great sway with FOX, and the National GOP. Only after those who proposed excluding Ron Paul step forward and show their communication trails, can people who believe in the deliberative voting process be assured that there is not underhanded activity behind this debate policy.

Spread the word. Fox needs to be contacted. The NH GOP needs to have pressure put on it, still. And the national GOP needs a good slapping, if it is involved.
