Oh to all those British taxpayers who worship the NHS isn't it pleasing to hear about how the NHS are wasting your money.

The Media Demonization of Stephanie Wolf

The case of Stephanie and Samantha Wolf is genuinely tragic.

Stephanie Wolf was a 66 year old fulltime carer for her 29 year old daughter who was paralysed from the neck down.

This past weekend both mother and daughter were discovered dead at their home in Wheathampstead Hertfordshire. It appears that both had died up to six weeks ago. Its presumed that Stephanie Wolf had died in her sleep and that Samantha had starved to death.

If all this is not tragic enough the media are now spinning that Stephanie Wolf is to blame as she had refused help from social services in caring for her daughter.

Axe to fall on NHS services

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/7908742/Axe-falls-on-NHS-services.html

Quote:

NHS bosses have drawn up secret plans for sweeping cuts to services, with restrictions on the most basic treatments for the sick and injured.

I'll give the Lib Dems some credit because during the general election they did say that if any party said they could ring fence the NHS from spending cuts they were lying.

Anyways though I feel sorry for those are sick & depend upon the NHS for treatment but if the NHS is cut back maybe people will realise they can't depend upon it & need to seek treatment in the free market.

But others think this might be a front for government to introduce another tax revenue

Previous Geolibertarian Podcast

More then two people have asked me about the podcast where Gard interviewed Ed Joyce & myself on geolibertarianism.

http://libertyconspiracy.podomatic.com/player/web/2010-03-29T03_17_54-07...

I think as we put over the concept over pretty concisely it would be a good listen for people

Hopefully if Gard is willing a roundtable discussion via Skype could be arranged in the near future.

Can you empathize as to why somebody might be a socialist?

Considering that there are an awful lot of libertarians who seem to think anybody of a different mindset is a socialist, I guess the question to libertarians should be care they able to empathize with those who have a different political mindset then their own?

I’m sorry to say that there are libertarians who slap somebody down as a socialist or statist without really trying to understand as to why that somebody might not be a libertarian.

What's happening To The Liberty Line?

We haven't heard liberty Line Pod for agaes & I'm just wondering as to why?

Citizen X on Freedom Watch

Citizen X,

Good job on Freedom Watch.  I only wish the Judge hadn't had the vile statist Ann Coulter on.  He could have given you the extra time and not asked you such softball questions.

Virtual School vs Teacher's Unions

Katherine Mangu-Ward from Reason Magazine wrote an excellent article about the growth of virtual schools and why it's hasn't grown faster.

The invasion of Iraq "substantially" increased the terrorist threat to the UK, the former head of MI5 has said.

I hope those who supported the war can sleep easy at night when thinking about the victims of 7/7.
