Well, Conspirators, you said you needed the information, and here it is, the first part of our ongoing attempt to keep you abreast of the websites for some of Gardner's guests.
This time, we highlight recent guests, and fiction authors.
Check them out, and soak in their great ideas!
First, we would like to mention once more, the excellent site of Glenn Jacobs, aka, Kane, of the WWE. Get this man's insight on political economics, and enjoy his wit at: www.adventuresofcitixenx.com

With GREAT Thanks to fellow Conspirator Nate, the Conspiracy would like to invite you to enjoy Gardner's detailed multi-media presentation on the libertarian themes in the television series "Firefly" and the film "Serenity", and believe us, there is a LOT to see and enjoy!
The recording is offered in seven segments, and covers nearly the entire presentation, sans only about five minutes near the end. We hope you like it, make sure you turn up the sound, and grab a copy of "Serenity Found"! It's a terrific study of one of the best television series made in decades.
On Today's ATG, Gard will recap the events in NYC yesterday, as Mahmud Ahmedenejad visited and chatted with Columbia University's crowd. Gard will also look at the other evil in NYC today, at the UN, the anthropogenic global warming fantasists who would harm people to further their utopian to "stop man-made global warming".

Read it online - LipidLeggin', a short story by F. Paul Wilson, as it says more about the direction that John Edward's health care ideas will move us than anything else we can think of...More and more, this 1978 short story is coming true. Transfat bans are just the start, but add in Edward's mandatory health care visits, and we'll be there for sure.

If a top-level spy decided he didn't want to be a spy anymore, could he just walk into HQ and hand in his resignation? With all that classified knowledge in his head, would he be allowed to become a civilian again, free to go about his life?

As Conspirators know, the federal "ownership" of the broadcast spectrum is not only economically unwise, it is patently unconstitutional. Yet the political manipulation of the system continues. Case in point: the upcoming January 2008 auction of wireless spectrum spaces for telecom carriers to utilize. Google wants a piece of the action, and may spend billions in the auction, where it will be up against AT&T and Verizon Wireless. If Google loses, it is arranging what it sees as a backup plan -- to get Congress to force the winner to carry competitors' services... Huh?
Yes. You got it. The Googlers want the winner to BE FORCED to carry the Google service.
While the federal government continues to decrease the value of the money we make -- to such an extent that now pennies and nickels are worth less in their coin form than if we melt them down for their constituent metals -- Marvel Comics had a great idea: change some US quarters prior to the release of "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" to make them collectible!
Ixnay on that, says the gub-ment. Only WE can mess with money!
Here is the story...
Dispensing with the Constitutional questions arising from a federal ban on state and local internet taxation (see cases such as the NY "Miln" case from the 19th century for an example of the byzantine nature of some commerce issues), the Conspiracy needs to draw your attention to the simple economic threat of possible state and local taxation on the internet and wireless devices. In NH, we are no longer immune to big spenders in our state capital. Note this article from CNET for more information, and then tell your US reps and senators what you think!!
______
Politicians weigh renewal of Net access tax ban
Al Gore has won a little metal statue from a bunch of self-righteous leftists.
Thought you'd want to know.
Had something to do with a bogus "hockey stick".
With the recent reports of Mel Gibson's behavior after being arrested for DUI in California, the double standards Americans have towards certain celebrities and political figures comes to the fore.
Bad behavoir is simply that, does it matter who engages in it?
Also, why is it that a Republican like Mitt Romney gets excoriated when he uses the term "tar baby" to describe the Big Dig (using the term as it was originally used, to describe a sticky situation), but Jesse Jackson can call New York City "HymieTown", and John Lennon gets away with urinating on nuns?
Thanks to Number Two, the Conspiracy would like to offer for your perusal the comments of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, member of the Senate Commerce Committee (better known at the "Anti-commerce Committee"). As a member of the committee, Senator Stevens is charged (though not constitutionally) with regulating the nation to death.
This he does with aplomb and striking enthusiasm, despite his glaring lack of knowledge about the things he wants to regulate. Case in point, the internet. Ted and his pals in DC are looking into the interest of businesses to provide upgraded levels of internet service for added fees. Since Ted does not seem to believe that people can be free to use their money to get something better, because it might make others feel inadequate, he is against letting businesses offer things like faster service, video news, and music options for a bit more. Equality means the equal sharing of misery, not equal treatment under the law.
