O Administration Admits to Drone-Strike Murders of Americans - Will Continue, Along with Murders of Foreigners

Notice how the NYT dances around this. First of all, the Administration ALREADY admitted to assassinating Americans in 2011 when Hillary Clinton proudly announced that US citizen Anwar al Awlaki and his son were killed in the fall of 2011. Second, you will see how the NYT toes the line for the Administration by mentioning how the Admin is releasing its "rules" for assassinating people.

More Blowback - London Radicals Kill British Soldier on High Street - Retaliation for West Attacks in Middle East

Wow. Terrible. Where will this end?

We have often said that every "Ilamic" terrorist who has offered a reason for attacking western civilians has stated that he has acted in retaliation for western actions in his homeland.

This new attack sees one of the killers say exactly the same thing.

Biometric Database of All Adult Americans in Immigration Bill

Remember, the feds aren't supposed to have anything to do with immigration. The Constitution only gives them power over naturalization, not immigration. This is something we've tried to warn traditional conservatives about. We said that if they didn't stop pushing for more federal power to control immigration, they would usher in a national ID and forced checks on it.

Lookie what the new bill will do:

CA, NY and DC Look to Ban 3-D Printed Firearms

As mentioned in a correspondence with Russia Today, who posted this piece, one wonders what portion of the Second Amendment these politicians in CA, NY and DC don't understand...

Obama Admin Pressuring Online Providers to Allow Wiretaps at Any Time

As you read this article, consider that this is not only an issue of the breach of the Fourth Amendment, but that it is also a misreading of the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows the federal gubment to tell product makers what will be in their products.

We hope you can tell some of your left-statist friends that the administration which was supposed to be such a change from the Bush administration is not only continuing the breaches of privacy that the Bushies (and others) started, the Obama Admin is expanding it.

US Senate Does NOT Pass Federal Mandate of Background Checks

The measure just barely lost. The Fourth Amendment hangs on a thread  in many areas, but has been given a stay in this area. The Second Amendment explicityly bans this kind of mandate, but the politicians don't care. The reason the bill failed is because constituents spoke up. (Hence why the unctuous Harry Reid voted against it (despite his predilection against the 2nd Amendment), as we predicted he would. He has too many constituents in NV who support gun ownership and the right of self-defense to step out on a limb and vote what he really wants and espouses so often - attenuation of his neighbor's rights.

Warmonger NeoCon GOP Arse Peter King Already Knows How to Foil Terror Bombers

Let's see. The feds, state, and local cops failed to protect people. The politicians have not stopped any US-based terror event (the only ones the FBI has stopped were ones they started and then entrapped people into joining)... But listen, this blowhard Peter King knows PRECISELY what to do: INCREASE THE POLICE STATE.

It's worked so far... Um. Right?

Bomb Attacks Kill in Boston

As noted on the Liberty Conspiracy page on Facebook. One's instincts are to stay away from any political commentary on events like this. But, after gripping the human side of this, it is requisite of us to offer some thoughts on the politics, and the abstract concepts which will no doubt come into play when politicians "respond" to it.

Here are a few preliminary thoughts from one guy who believes in freedom:

Gitmo Defense Docs 'Mysteriously' Disappear from Pentagon

Another in a long line of abuses heaped upon people apprehended in an unconstitutional military operation and held in a blatantly unconstitutional fashion. Now, their unconstitutional trials have been further jeopardized by the disappearance of documents that were in the hands off government officials. Cute.

Senate Going for Unconstitutional Background Checks

If they can do background checks, that means they can restrict the purchases if the BG checks are not conducted properly or they flag someone as "unmutual" (as they'd say in "The Prisoner"). Background checks are unconstitutional. Also, they tell us that the data will not be collected by the federal gubment. This is a lie.

NY State Using HIPAA (aka HIPPA) to Collect Med Data, Seize Guns from Folks Who've Taken Anti-Anxiety Meds

Many years ago, libertarians tried to sound the alarm about HIPAA, the Orwellian "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act", which imposed anti-constitutional regulations on private health insurance companies and doctors to MAKE them get patient permission before sharing patient health data. Hey, we freedom-lovers often speak in favor of privacy, but if a company does not offer to keep medical data private when one signs on, then they should be free to share it. If they promise to keep things private (which slows the data flow if one of their patients is in an accident) then they share it, the patient can go after them for fraud and breach of contract... In a voluntary system, people accept or deny these kinds of impositions or services based on their own preferences.
